Deva Premal & Miten Return to Australia in October 2026
for Their First National Visit in Six Years
Mantra, Music & Meditation: ‘Singing Our Prayers Australia’ - A Homecoming Tour Across Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Shire
With Special Guest Musicians Joby Baker & Lady Phyl
Internationally renowned mantra artists Deva Premal & Miten will return to Australia in October 2026 for their first national visit in six years, bringing their Singing Our Prayers tour to Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Shire with special guest musicians Joby Baker & Lady Phyl.
The tour will include concerts at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne, the Enmore Theatre in Sydney and Mullumbimby Civic Memorial Hall in Byron Shire, alongside a weekend gathering in Mullumbimby for audiences wishing to deepen the practice.
Dedicated to the transformative force of mantra, the timeless art of healing through sound, Deva & Miten journey across the world carrying warmth and illumination into uncertain times. Now more than ever, we are being called to come together and raise our voices, not in protest, but in collective, harmonious chant.
Presented in partnership with Wanderlust and proudly supporting A Sound Life, the tour reflects a shared belief in the power of music, meditation and community connection to support wellbeing.
In Byron Shire, the experience extends beyond a single evening, with an in-person weekend gathering at Mullumbimby Civic Memorial Hall and an exclusive weekend concert for retreat participants.
About Deva Premal & Miten
With over 35 years of shared life and creative partnership, Deva Premal & Miten have become the most recognisable voices in contemporary mantra music. Their recordings have sold more than 1.5 million albums worldwide and Deva’s eponymous 2018 album was nominated for Best New Age Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2020. Both individually and as a duo, Deva and Miten have been consistently releasing music since the 1990s, accumulating billions of streams across platforms, not through the machinery of mainstream pop, but through the quiet, devoted spread of a practice that genuinely transforms.
Their work has been embraced by wellness leaders, yoga practitioners and meditation teachers globally, helping bring mantra from the margins of spiritual tradition into everyday consciousness. Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle and His Holiness The Dalai Lama have all publicly praised their profound and powerful music.
Their recent 21-Day Mantra Course, released exclusively with leading holistic health and wellbeing platform Younity, has now had over 100,000 downloads globally, a testament to the growing hunger for practices that offer stillness in an era of relentless noise.
What to Expect
These gatherings are part concert, part shared meditative practice. Audiences will hear beloved mantras including the Gayatri Mantra, original songs, extended moments of shared silence and the unmistakable atmosphere of a room singing and breathing together. Each gathering carries the intimacy of a meditation circle and the uplift of a live concert.
“People everywhere are realising that mantra eases the intensity of daily life,” say Deva & Miten. “Chanting works on many levels, lifting the psychic burden we carry as human beings and bringing us back home to centre, back to the inevitable blossoming of the heart.”
The Science of Singing Together
Research into singing, meditation and group-based wellbeing practices continues to point to positive impacts on stress, emotional regulation and social connection. These findings mirror what many ancient traditions have long understood: voice, breath and shared attention can support a felt sense of belonging.
In a time defined by fragmentation, digital overload and global uncertainty, the act of singing together has become as radical as it is restorative.
“This is sacred activism,” say Deva & Miten. “Each voice contributes to a vibration that uplifts not only the individual, but the collective and the planet itself. We are all responsible.”
